Join Laurel Thomas for this four-talk series as she teaches you how to identify and intentionally develop your unique voice and writing expression!

This course includes:

• "The Journey of Discovering Your Voice: Vision is More than a Project" - Vision is more than a project. The first step in discovering your voice as a writer is to affirm the unique stamp of your own creativity. Learn how to build confidence with simple steps, such as investing in curiosity and devoting a consistent time to your artistic bent. We’ll practice interactive exercises designed to prime the pump of your creative well.
• "The Journey of Discovering Your Voice: Observing & Creating" - Developing your voice as a writer is about discovery that comes by observing the world around us. Learn to develop your own “image bank” with experiences that have touched and impacted your creative heart. We’ll practice story snippets and a dash of poetry to demonstrate how a simple image becomes a powerful tool to reveal your authentic voice. 
• "The Journey of Discovering Your Voice: Problem Solving for Creatives" - Is developing a creative journey merely indulgent or key to becoming all we can be in Christ? In the broadest sense, creativity is our ability to look at a problem and solve it in a fresh, new way. Learn how to cultivate a growth mindset that shuts down doubt and fear and helps maintain joy along the way. Our group work will shine a light on fear and inspire fresh courage.
• "The Journey of Discovering Your Voice: Collaboration & Consistency" - Know that each of our voices were created to be heard. That means we need people! A successful writer's journey is about conquering isolation by developing interdependence – on purpose. Learn to cultivate the give and take of healthy relationships with other creatives and find that your gift blossoms in multiplied ways! Our small groups will feature collaboration at its finest!
